B&W In-Ceiling Speakers Each of Bowers & Wilkins custom installation speakers has been developed with the same care and attention as they lavish on there more conventional, cabinet-based designs. Thanks to over forty years of experience in speaker development and B&W's on going investment into science and technology, they continue to lead the way when it comes to sound quality.
Bowers and Wilkins has raised the bar for quality in-wall and in-ceiling speakers again. These new models have been totally redesigned, with a remarkably thin frame for an elegant appearance that appears to vanish into your wall. No more of the old style "picture frame" designs that many other manufactures seem to offer.
B&W in-wall speakers and in-ceiling speakers, can preserve the pure aesthetics of your living or work space. But while these speakers are made to disappear from view, they produce a sound that's anything but shy and retiring. Combining rock-solid back box construction with technologies borrowed from our top-of-the-range freestanding models, they're all but invisible to the eye, yet infinitely pleasing to the ear.
In-Ceiling Speakers
For some people, when they walk into a room, the last thing they want to see are speakers. So in this case, the best option is in-ceiling speakers.
Bowers and Wilkins have designed a series of in-ceiling speakers that feature an ultra-thin bezel frame that makes these speakers virtually invisible and seem to disappear into the ceiling, while lending an elegant appearance in the decor of the living space. The designers at Bowers and Wilkins understand that a person rarely stands directly under a speaker while listening, with the new CI series of in-ceiling speakers; they can be positioned in the perimeter of the room so they are out of sight; a switch located on the front baffle to angle the midrange frequencies for perfect clarity and focus, the tweeters can be postioned in a variety of angles, no matter where you listen for the perfect in-ceiling speaker.
Each in-ceiling speaker in the Bowers and Wilkins has been developed with the same care and attention as they put into their conventional cabinet style loudspeakers. In fact, many technologies that are found in those speakers are found here in their in-ceiling models, such as, Kevlar woofers for a sound that is remarkably clean, clear, and dynamic. The CI Series of speakers offer models with woofers up to eight inches in diameter, for a full, rich bass with room-filling sound.
Three separate ranges comprise Bowers & Wilkins Custom Installation. CI 700 offers the best sounding installation speakers B&W ever produced. CI 600 sound amazing, too, but are more affordable, while the Classic series features a host of proven classics.
