B&W In-Wall Speakers Each of Bowers & Wilkins custom installation speakers has been developed with the same care and attention as they lavish on there more conventional, cabinet-based designs. Thanks to over forty years of experience in speaker development and B&W's on going investment into science and technology, they continue to lead the way when it comes to sound quality.

Bowers and Wilkins has raised the bar for quality in-wall and in-ceiling speakers again. These new models have been totally redesigned, with a remarkably thin frame for an elegant appearance that appears to vanish into your wall. No more of the old style "picture frame" designs that many other manufactures seem to offer.

b & w in wall speakers

B&W in-wall speakers and in-ceiling speakers, can preserve the pure aesthetics of your living or work space. But while these speakers are made to disappear from view, they produce a sound that's anything but shy and retiring. Combining rock-solid back box construction with technologies borrowed from our top-of-the-range freestanding models, they're all but invisible to the eye, yet infinitely pleasing to the ear.

In-Wall Speakers

Every room is different. Therefore the B&W Series of custom installation speakers are designed to be as flexible as possible. A combination of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers provides a great deal of flexibility, while a range of different sizes and configurations allows you to select the perfect system for your needs.

For some people, the mere sight of a speaker, no matter how well designed, is enough to cause palpitations. It's for precisely this clientele that B&W have pursued the notion of custom installation loudspeakers, which can be carefully hidden into walls or ceilings and, where necessary, disguised to be as hard-to-detect as possible.

Three separate ranges comprise Bowers & Wilkins Custom Installation. CI 700 offers the best sounding installation speakers B&W ever produced. CI 600 sound amazing, too, but are more affordable, while the Classic series features a host of proven classics.

Bowers & Wilkins 7.3 In-Wall

B&W's top range in-wall speaker, the CWM7.3 is a mighty three-way unit bringing together tried and tested audiophile technologies with new innovations specially developed for custom installation. The speaker features twin 6 inch bass drivers, a 4 inch FST mid-range driver and a Nautilus tube loaded 1 inch soft dome tweeter. New features include rigid die-cast chassis for the drivers, high-quality Mundorf crossover components and a rock-solid baffle constructed from glass-reinforced ABS. A truly exceptional in-wall speaker.

In Pursuit of Perfection Compromise has never been part of the vocabulary at Bowers & Wilkins. Just ask the scientists at the Steyning Research Establishment, Bowers & Wilkins' dedicated acoustic R&D lab. For decades, the pioneering innovations developed here have influenced the way speakers are designed and built all over the world. Technological advances such as the Nautilus tweeter tube and Kevlar drive units have since been imitated, but never bettered. Today, Bowers & Wilkins technologies like these can be found everywhere sound quality matters - at top recording studios, for example, or concealed in walls and ceilings as part of a Bowers & Wilkins custom installation system.
